Now Is The Time To Schedule Commercial Painting Projects

Now is the time for commercial painting

If you own a commercial property such as an apartment or office building, you know that it takes a lot to keep up with maintenance, repair, and appearance of these types of structures. You may have a yearly routine for such things, doing some tasks in the summer and others in the fall or winter. You may just go by what needs to be done when, without any previous planning or schedule. Either way you go, you might want to consider that now is the time to schedule commercial painting projects. Why? I thought you’d never ask!

Easier to Schedule Commercial Painters

Mid to late winter is a good time for painting projects if the temperatures are not too cold. It is often easier to get on a commercial painting company‘s schedule in the winter time. You may even get a better estimate if you call and schedule a time for your painting to get done now, depending on your area and the contractor you call. Plus, you’ll be ahead of the game when it comes to getting that springtime  spruce-up done. But then again there is a chance that the contractor you have chosen after shopping around is not available right away. It may be that they are not available until the spring, which is also good news!

Spring is just around the corner, and this is a great time for painting. Like cleaning, some things are just right this time of year. It is not too cold, which is good, because super-low temperatures can prevent paint from drying altogether. It is not too hot, which is also good because high temperatures cause paint to dry too fast. Humidity affects paint and the outcome as well. Springtime is perfect because it is warm enough to work comfortably without having too much humidity or extreme temperatures.

Do Not Wait Too Long

So why not wait until spring actually hits before giving the painting company a call? Well, the fact is that painters and other contractors are generally much busier in the springtime because of these ideal working conditions. The painter you choose might be too busy to get you on their schedule if you wait until spring is actually here. You may find that they have less flexibility and are unable to accommodate the dates and times you prefer to get the job done. You may have a deadline that you need to adhere to. You want to make sure to make those calls early in the year, especially if you want to do any shopping around.

Now is also a good time because many people move around in the spring and early summertime. If you own an apartment complex or other multi-family property you will probably notice this. Getting your structures freshly painted is one great way to attract tenants and the same can be said for clients if you own an office or other commercial building. It is often a way to increase curb appeal without spending a ton of money.

Call a Commercial Painting Contractor Today

There is no harm in calling a commercial painting contractor now to schedule an estimate. The worst case scenario is you find the price is too high or the time frame you want is not available. Either way, knowledge is power! If you call now and the price is right on budget, you will have a much easier time getting the time frame that fits your schedule. Owning commercial property comes with a lot of responsibility…let’s get the painting project checked off now!
